Hello! 👋 My name is Alex and I created this blog to share my hobbies and experiences in my day-to-day life.

I started this blog for me to document what I know now, what I’m currently learning, and the curiosities that keep me exploring. Writing helps me process my thoughts, in which I hope it sparks ideas or inspiration for you too!

My background professionally is in cybersecurity, but I love diving into projects at home too. I often tinker with my personal equipment to test out new tools, explore open-source software, and see how different layouts can be fit together. I document the process so I can look back on what worked (and what didn’t).

My other hobbies include music, especially going to concerts to see some of my favorite artists. I enjoy photography, capturing time in a standstill format. Writing as well, not just documentation but to give my thoughts more space to live so I can return to them later. And of course, anything else that sparks my curiosity tends to find its way here too.

I am easily spottable in the wild usually with a black backpack, my laptop, and travel router, either writing 📝 or programming 💻.

I would like to state that with the usage of AI/LLMs now on the interwebs, I do not and will not be using AI to write any posts of mine. This is to keep my unique voice and give the authentic version of myself to whoever reads this. I may use AI when I share code on my posts. This will be denoted with a statement near the code block itself if there is any use. If there is no statement, then expect the code itself to be written fully by myself.
